  Categories: Events Recognitions

At the beginning of April an international scientific conference, European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP), which is one of the biggest international conferences on wireless communication, was held in Krakow (Poland). A paper that was written in collaboration of our expert and FER’s Professors, won the “Best Antenna Theory Paper” award.

This year, EuCAP gathered more than 1300 researches from all over the world, who presented approximately 1000 scientific papers. Three researchers from Ericsson Nikola Tesla also participated; Asst. Prof. Goran Molnar, Dominik Barbarić and Marko Matijaščić, postgraduate students at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER).  They published and presented two papers in fields of antenna design and antenna arrays, made in collaboration between our company and FER.

One of the papers, written by Zvonimir Šipuš, Dominik Barbarić and Marko Bosiljevac, “Analysis of Curved Metasurfaces with Spatially-Varying Impedance Distribution", won the “Best Antenna Theory Paper” award. Congratulations to the authors!

Professors from FER’s Department of Wireless Communications also attended the Conference; Prof. Juraj Batolić, Prof. Davor Bonefačić, Asst. Prof. Marko Bosiljevac, and Prof. Zvonimir Šipuš.
