  Categories: Agreements Investors

HT Eronet and Ericsson Nikola Tesla have continued their successful collaboration by signing a frame agreement on expanding LTE network across Bosnia and Herzegovina. The agreement worth HRK 34 million was signed in Mostar by Vilim Primorac, president of the Management Board of HT Eronet, and Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The contracted work relates to LTE network (800 MHz and 1800 MHz), project management services, integration of new nodes into the network and training for this B&H operator’s employees. Ericsson is the single vendor of HT Eronet’s radio access network. Due to radio system equipment, which is 5G- and IoT-ready, HT Eronet will be able to transit smoothly to 5G in the future.

Vilim Primorac, president of the Management Board of HT Eronet: “The LTE contract signed with Ericsson Nikola Tesla is a strategic step in the collaboration of the two companies. We are happy that Ericsson Nikola Tesla is our technological partner in the modernization of our network. As a result of that, we will provide our customers with the latest and most efficient radio technology on the market.”

Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, expressed her satisfaction with the continuation of collaboration: “I am particularly pleased with the fact that our collaboration with HT Eronet has continued. This was enabled by the trust developed between our expert teams as well as by Ericsson’s technology.  Excellent team work, a relationship with the customer based on trust, and top-notch Ericsson solutions have ensured this job. I am convinced that we will justify the trust we gained and open up possibilities for 5G through a successful realization of our work in LTE.”
