Ericsson Nikola Tesla delegation at the Western Balkans Digital Summit

The delegation of Ericsson Nikola Tesla participated in the fifth Western Balkans Digital Summit (WBDS) held on September 21 and 22 in Pristina.

Along with President Gordana Kovačević, the summit was attended by Milan Živković, Director of Strategy and Business Development, Ivan Lupić, responsible for business development in new areas, Ivica Gojsalić, responsible for sales activities in Kosovo, and Besar Spahija, Director of our Kosovo branch office. During the summit, our delegation held numerous talks with heads of state institutions, partners, representatives of the academic community and local self-government.

Ivan Lupić participated in the panel “Accelerating digital skills through industry engagement” along with a number of regional leaders of digital transformation from the segment of technological solutions, innovation and education. He presented the activities, competences and references of our company in the field of industry and society solutions, and highlighted the activities our company undertakes to attract students, the Ericsson Nikola Tesla Summer Camp and cooperation with faculties in Croatia and in the region.

The summit is held every year in the capitals of the countries of the Western Balkans and is part of a broader initiative of the European Commission, the Digital Agenda for the Western Balkans. The initiative aims to support the transition of this region to a digital economy and bring the benefits of digital transformation, such as faster economic growth, more jobs and better services.
