One of the biggest projects of improving energy efficiency in Croatia that was co-financed by the EU funds was successfully finished, allowing Ericsson Nikola Tesla to enter 2021 with significantly improved technological capacities regarding energy efficiency.

At the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Science, University of Zagreb (FPZ), a new joint Traffic and Logistics Data Science Lab was officially opened. Through the Lab Ericsson Nikola Tesla and FPZ will continue their successful long-term cooperation in the field of science and research, development and education. The opening event at the Faculty, which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia Davor Božinović, Professor Miljenko Šimpraga, PhD, Vice-rector for Innovations, Technology Transfer and Communications at the Universit of Zagreb, and a team of managers and leading experts in this field from Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

The ceremony that gathered representatives of partner academic institutions, participating students and mentors marked the closing of the 19th edition of Ericsson Nikola Tesla's Summer Camp.

Joint Information System for Land Registry and Cadaster (JIS), a project realized in the cooperation of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Ministry of Justice and State Geodetic Administration, was recognized as a support in creation of e-Croatia, a development of entrepreneurship and securing citizens’ trust into land registry and registries in the recently published first Voluntary National Review (VNR) of the Republic of Croatia. Ericsson Nikola Tesla, as a member of the Croatian Chamber of Economy’s CSR Association, was included in the contribution during the creation of VNR.
