During the 21st Mostar Fair, among hundreds of exhibitors from more than twenty countries, representing nearly all sectors of the economy, this year once again Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s exhibition stand was prominent for its contents and look, and was visited by numerous business partners, customers and other visitors during the five-day event. Within the Fair’s activities, Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the University of Mostar signed an Agreement on cooperation between science and business in the field of ICT, with the purpose to jointly create an innovative knowledge society.

On World Water Day, which is held annually on 22 March, we marked the official end of the first phase of WaterQ project, whose primary objective is to search into the applicability of information and communications technologies (ICT) and the concept of public collection of data in the assessment of risks and impact of water on human health.

In an auditorium filled to capacity, on Ericsson Nikola Tesla premises in Zagreb, the first demonstration of 5G technology in Croatia was held. At the same time, significant expansion of the company’s activities in the field of research and development was announced, revealing further intensive employment of experts in Croatia, namely on high added value jobs. Highest ranking government officials, headed by the President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković, attended the event named “Focused on the future”. Along with the Vice President of the Government Martina Dalić, Minister of Finance Zdravko Marić, Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds Gabrijela Žalac and Minister of Science and Education Blaženka Divjak, the conference was attended by numerous other state officials, representatives from the political sphere, diplomatic corps, academia from Zagreb, Split and Osijek, The Croatian Employers' Association, as well as by the customers and partners of the company.
IT system for monitoring of the implementation of the General Administrative Procedure Act (GAPA)

The closing ceremony for the EU funded project „Development and implementation of the IT system for monitoring of the implementation of the General Administrative Procedure Act (GAPA)” was held in Ericsson Nikola Tesla on Friday, March 16. A national digital system GAPA IT for monitoring of the implementation of the General Administrative Procedure Act (GAPA) was set up in the project as a decentralized reporting system to be run by the Ministry of Public Administration of the Republic of Croatia.
