The Croatian Chamber of Economy – Chamber Zagreb Awarded “Zlatna kuna” to Ericsson Nikola Tesla

At the formal session of the Chamber Zagreb City Council, held on December 17, 2014, in the Grand Hall of the Croatian Chamber of Economy- Chamber Zagreb, traditional recognitions were awarded – “Zlatna kuna” Plaques to the most successful large, medium and small companies from the City of Zagreb and Zagreb County for the business results achieved and the technological and innovative excellence they presented. Along with businessmen, the session gathered the representatives of the City of Zagreb and Zagreb County, as well as the representatives of economic, scientific and other institutions.

The business magazine Lider, for the fourth time gathered the business women of the region, in order to highlight their successful experiences, motivate them for new undertakings and support the initiative to increase the number of women in the leading positions in all society segments. A traditional Lider annual list of 300 leading women in Croatian business was presented, and the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla was highly ranked as second.

Under the auspice of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Ivo Josipović, on December 10, 2014, at Regent Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb, CSR Index Awards 2014 were officially presented. The Awards are jointly presented by the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development, with the aim to highlight Croatian companies that understand and properly implement corporate social responsibility. The companies compete in four categories, with regard to their size and ownership type.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla celebrates by donating to flood victims

Ericsson Nikola Tesla celebrates its 65 years of successful and socially responsible business by donating one million kuna for rebuilding the medical clinic in Gunja, which was completely destroyed in this years’ spring flood. During the ceremony, which was attended by Ivo Josipović, President of the Republic of Croatia, Branko Grčić, Deputy Prime Minister, Anka Mrak Taritaš, Minister of Construcion and Physical Planning, Vedran Mornar, Minister of Science, Education and Sports, Sandra Švaljek, Mayor’s Deputy from the City of Zagreb, and more than one hundred other people, including buyers, business partners and distinguished persons from Croatia public life, MSc Gordana Kovačević, president of the Company, presented the keys of the rebuild medical clinic in Gunja to Luca Lešić, the principal of the community health center. With this, the employees of the Company have once more, along with innovativeness and professionalism, shown responsibility towards the community, which they work in.
