Darko Huljenić appointed to The National Council for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development

The Croatian Parliament appointed on April 11 the National Council for Science, Higher Education and Technology Development, which is an expert body in charge of the development and quality of all scientific activities and the scientific system, higher education and technology development in the Republic of Croatia. The Council has 18 members who are all prominent Croatian experts. Ivo Družić was appointed the president, and the associate professor Darko Huljenić, Ph.D. is one of the members.

At Oracle Day conference, Darko Gvozdanović, expert from Ericsson Nikola Tesla, presented the near future in the national health care system, i.e. eRecord, and primarius Dr. Elvira Čeljuska Tošev, the head of the Department for Medical Documentation at the Clinic for infectious diseases “Dr. Fran Mihaljević”, Zagreb, presented her experience with the hospital ordering system.

Within the eHealth day, the Company Darko Gvozdanović and Mario Ravić presented the advantages of using eRecords and mHealth in monitoring the health status of chronic patients.

For quite a number of yeas the company fosters excellent relations with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Tuzla, by being engaged on the joint projects, such as ETK Summer Camp and Intsikt conference. This collaboration expanded to the segment of a field teaching, and this was the reason for students and their mentors to visit Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

Grand PRix awards are granted by HUOJ for the best communications projects. This year, even 45 projects competed for the award. The jury of eleven communications experts, headed by Mr Mario Aunedi Medek, assessed the projects in eight categories, and granted special awards for the communicator of the year, and for the contribution to the profession.

The International Project Management Association (IPMA) along with the Project Management Institute (PMI) is a global reference organization that gathers experts, enhances and certificates their competences and promotes the importance of top quality project management in the economy. It was one of the first workshops for young members of IPMA that was held in Ericsson Nikola Tesla, with an aim to get them familiar with a work in the Company Project Management unit (ETK PMO).
