"Bricks from Split”

After Zagreb Innovation Day, its sequel was held in Split. Despite the strong wind and cloudy weather, the presenters did not hide their satisfaction and the employees their thrill, by the innovations they have seen.  Moreover, a high level of consciousness was presented, and hence, funds have been raised through a humanitarian action, in order to help the people from the areas impacted by this year’s catastrophic floods.

In the beginning, all the Split employees were addressed by MSc Gordana Kovačević, Ericsson Nikola Tesla President, who highlighted the importance of innovative culture, which we attend to, as well as corporate social responsibility visible in this humanitarian action, as well. A total of eight broad specter area innovations were presented, which encompass the possibilities from improving the functionalities of the cutting edge technologies, commercially still not available in the European market to a brand new use of data, which large operators have for years, but have just now shown the full potential to create added value to business. At the same time, the second, final part of the humanitarian action “Rebuilding by Knowledge – add your brick for the medical clinic”, was taking place. After taking a walk through the entire innovation setup, the employees knew how to correctly answer all the questions asked, and thus they collected bricks, which the company shall convert into real funds, intended to rebuild the medical clinic in Gunja.
