e-Prescription Wins Five Red Diamonds for Supreme User Experience

The Swiss ICERTIAS has recently conducted a public opinion poll in Croatia which demonstrated that Croatian citizens are very happy with the innovative paperless prescription service. The e-Prescription service was implemented into the Croatian healthcare system by Ericsson Nikola Tesla already in 2011, which places us amongst the global leaders in this service. The service is regularly used by more than four million people.
e-Prescription enables Croatian healthcare services’ users to get a digital prescription from their doctors and to collect their medication in any pharmacy in Croatia without paper.

The opinion poll was conducted between 27 October and 3 November 2014 on a sample of 1200 respondents who are e-Prescription service users. As many as 81.4% of respondents expressed a high degree of satisfaction with the e-Prescription service. On a scale of one to five, 81.4% of respondents voted the service excellent with the accompanying argument: “I find the e-Prescription service excellent and I would not like to go back to the old system of paper prescriptions”. The degree of satisfaction with the e-Prescription service is further illustrated by the replies to an open question in the survey to describe the service in one word. The majority of respondents stated “Excellent”, followed by “Great”, “Satisfied”, “Good” and similar.

The survey results grant the e-Prescription service permission to carry the five red diamonds „ICERTIAS Customers' Friend“ pentagonal red diamond mark with the title „Outstanding Service“ for the best user experience.

Robert Slavečki, the Director of ICERTIAS, expanded on the high vote of e-Prescription service: „This high a preference rate for a product or service is very rare indeed, both in Croatia and in other countries where we conduct our surveys. On average, a result like this, with a preference greater than 80%, is seen in two to maximum three categories in one hundred commercial groups of our surveys. Due to that, we extend our warm congratulations to Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the company behind the technological solution for e-Prescription in Croatia, for this extraordinary achievement within a very demanding and socially sensitive category.”
