Ericsson Nikola Tesla Celebrates 65 Years of Successful Business

Ericsson Nikola Tesla, by presenting a range of various activities, among which we especially highlight Innovation Days and the humanitarian action  “Rebuilding by Knowledge“,  celebrates 65 years of successful and socially responsible business performance. The final event takes place on November 27, at the Company premises, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Ivo Josipović. Apart from President Josipović, the event will also be attended by a hundred guests, representatives of socio-political and economic life, as well as the customers and partners from Croatia and abroad.

The program will be both technically and by its content in line with the current social moment, the technological leadership of Ericsson Corporation, a part of which Ericsson Nikola Tesla is, and the principles of corporate social responsibility.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla development path began long ago in 1949, and the collaboration with Ericsson, as a licensing partner, only four years after.  Due to this, Ericsson Nikola Tesla has always been at the very top of world technology. In the 1960s and 70s, a great “Tesla” business expansion begins, and already then, 40 percent of total production was intended for export.  In the late 1970s, a Contract was signed with Ericsson on business-technical collaboration regarding the production of digital telephony and telegraph AXE system exchanges. Today, Ericsson Nikola Tesla is the leading regional provider of communication products and services in the operator segment and a leader in the segment of information and communication solutions regarding healthcare, transport, state administration, utility services and multimedia communication.  Due to the activities of Research and Development Center and Customer Service Expert Centers, Ericsson Nikola Tesla is the leading Croatian exporter of knowledge.
