Ericsson Nikola Tesla wins a Golden Index for the best image among the students

eStudent association has been conducting for a several years a competition for the Golden Index Award in which the companies, which have contributed to the quality of life, education and vocational training of students are awarded with a unique award in the Republic of Croatia. Golden Index for the best image among the students, in the category of large companies, was awarded to Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Drago Holub, manager in the Radio Access Network Unit, at the ceremony thanked the students and announced further fruitful work with the future experts.

After Ericsson Nikola Tesla Summer Camp being a multiple laureate of the Golden Index Award, the program Let’s Talk has won the votes of students and the Committee, consisting of student associations’ representatives from all of Croatia, which valuated the projects of the companies.

The program Let's Talk includes different types of cooperation and continuous and open communication with the graduate students from the technical faculties with an aim to introduce them with the companies and jobs in R&D center and their employment. Together with frequent meeting with the students at the faculties, every Friday at 2 p.m., the students can come and make a tour of the company and talk with the leading people and teams, offering them a part time job and practice, and the top quality participants are offered the employment after the diploma.

In 2015, 55 students used this opportunity. 45 of them decided to take employment in Ericsson Nikola Tesla due to attractiveness of technologies and jobs, motivating working environment and high-quality conditions and a big potential for personal development and advancement.

At the ceremony, held on March 23 at the Croatian State Archives in Zagreb, gathered representatives of the economy, which improved students’ life in 2015. A valuable Golden Index Award for the best image among the students, in the category of large companies, was awarded to our company. Drago Holub, manager in the Radio Access Network Unit in the Ericsson Nikola Tesla R&D center, thanked the students and announced further fruitful work.
