5. Zaključak

Svijet komunikacijskih usluga je promijenjen zahvaljujući iznimno brzom razvoju Interneta i drugih podatkovnih usluga te zahvaljujući mobilnim uslugama. Postojeće arhitekture mreža ne mogu zadovoljiti rastuće zahtjeve i potrebe krajnjih korisnika. Za to je potrebna otvorenija i prilagodljivija arhitektura mreže koja se može postići migracijom iz više jedno-uslužnih u jednu više-uslužnu mrežu. ENGINE model Ericssonovo je rješenje za mreže nove generacije. On omogućava prijelaz u novu generaciju više-uslužnih komunikacijskih mreža u kojima mogu biti objedinjene podatkovne i govorne usluge, fiksni i mobilni pristup.
