FOURTH quarter of 2007
In December 2007 Ericsson Nikola Tesla concluded new contracts worth around 23 MHRK with BH Telecom, the leading operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus marking a continued good collaboration with this operator.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla announces the commercial launch of Ipko`s GSM network and a managed services contract with this Kosovo operator.
Recently Ericsson and Mobilkom Austria Group have agreed about a strategic agreement regarding their further collaboration. With this agreement Ericsson has secured his leadership as a core network, radio network and IMS provider for Mobilkom Austria Group that is present in 7 countries (Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia and Belarus); the customer has secured favorable prerequisites for further business expansion and growth.
During November the company Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracted several jobs in the markets of the Commonwealth of Independent Countries with the total value that exceeds HRK 11 million.
The leading Croatian supplier of ICT solutions, Ericsson Nikola Tesla made a contract with its long-term partner T-Mobile in Montenegro on the upgrade of this operator’s 2G and 3G mobile network.
In October Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed several contracts in the CIS market, worth in total 22.5 MHRK.
„The business results of Ericsson Nikola Tesla during the three quarters 2007 meet planned figures. Our volume growth exceeds, however, the telecom market growth. Beside the volume growth and stability, our accomplishments are continued cooperation with existing customers, positioning in new markets and a broadened customer base" pointed out says Gordana Kovačević, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla.
Our company continues successful export sales. Late in September the company concluded several deals in the Russian Federation worth in total 8,9 MHRK.
The company Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the Croatian supplier of cutting-edge communication solutions and services concluded in September several contracts in the Russian Federation and in Montenegro, worth in total 9,4 MHRK.
Third quarter of 2007
Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed three new contracts in the Russian Federation in total valued at 14 million kunas.
After new business activities in July, traditionally good collaboration between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and BH Telecom, leading mobile operater in Bosnia and Herzegovina, continues further in August.
In July Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed new contracts in the CIS markets. Their total worth is over 6 million kunas.
The performance of Ericsson Nikola Tesla in the first half of 2007 is characterized by stability and business growth.
In Sarajevo, Ericsson Nikola Tesla's president Gordana Kovačević and BH Telecom's CEO Hamdo Katica signed new contracts for a GSM network extension and modernization. The new contracts are worth almost 28 million kunas, the projects should be completed early in October.
Second quarter of 2007
Ipko Net Llc, the second mobile operator in Kosovo and Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the leading Croatian ICT company are setting up a new GSM network that will cover the whole territory of Kosovo.
The dividend for the business year 2006 will be paid out on June 20, 2007.
The company Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed a new contract with Lanit Partner from Habarovsk for the needs of the Far East Railway (DVŽD).
The General Shareholders Meeting of Ericsson Nikola Tesla was held on May 31, 2007. Gordana Kovačević, Ericsson Nikola Tesla president, addressed the attendants. In 2006 the company operated within the planned track record – operations were stable and showing a tendency toward moderate growth.
In collaboration with the consortium headed by Ericsson Nikola Tesla, activities to accomplish the project entitled „Organized Land“have started. The contract is worth 22,5 MHRK. The contractual deadline for the implementation of the joint Land Information System (consisting of Land Records and Cadastral Data and Maps) is 2 years from now on, and the system shall secure FASTER, SIMPLER AND MORE SECURE real estate registering and related entitlement.
The company signed a new contract for a special customer in Kazakhstan through a local partner – the company OTC. The contract valued at MHRK 2.94 stipulates the delivery of twelve MX ONE TSW exchanges, Ericssons systems for Enterprise Networks.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the leading Croatian exporter of ICT products, services and solutions, has signed a contract with Megafon, a GSM operator in Russia, for delivery of their new wireline transit network based on Ericsson AXE system.
„The key business indicators related to Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s operation during the first quarter 2007 are in line with our expectations", pointed out Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla.
Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of Stockholders of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Zagreb, Krapinska 45 (hereinafter: Company) will be held at the registered office of the Company in Zagreb, Krapinska 45, on May 31, 2007 at 17.00, as convened by the Managing Director of the Company, compliant with her decision of 21st March 2007 on convening this Meeting and pursuant to the Company Law, Art. 277, sections 2 and 3.
In the beginning of April Ericsson Nikola Tesla has effectuated a continued sales success in the Commonwealth of Independent Countries’ markets. After having won a strategic and valuable GSM network expansion job with the Belarus customer Velcom, the company has contracted three other assignments in the markets of Moldavia, Russia and Uzbekistan, with the total value in the vicinity of HRK 9 million.
We are glad to announce that Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed a contract with JV MDC Velcom, the first GSM mobile operator in the Republic of Belarus. The contract covers the infrastructure expansion and upgrade of the Velcom’s GSM core network and BSS. The contract is valued at USD 43,6 million and its realization is expected to be finalized by the end of October 2007.
First quarter of 2007
Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the Port of Rijeka Authority contracted an end-to-end radar and communications system of sea shipping management, i.e. the Automatic Identification System and VHF system as well as the communication system connecting different locations within the Port of Rijeka Authority. his is the first end-to-end radar and communications system of sea shipping management to be implemented in Croatia
The company Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracted with T-Mobile Montenegro the delivery of 3G and 2G equipment. The contract was signed on March 22, 2007 in Podgorica. It includes the necessary implementation services, equipment integration, including the solution and project management, as well as the IP Broadband Network Design (IPBN Network Design). Under the contract Ericsson Nikola Tesla will also change the CC/MCC codes within the network operated by T-Mobile Montenegro.
The Supervisory Board of the company Ericsson Nikola Tesla approved at their meeting of 21st March the Managing Director's proposal that shall be submitted to the General Shareholders' Assembly for payment of 320 HRK dividends per share. This amount includes 20 HRK of regular dividend compliant with the company's policy on dividend payment and 300 HRK of an extraordinary, non-recurring payment to shareholders.
In 2006 Ericsson Nikola Tesla operated within the planned track record – operations were stable showing a tendency toward moderate growth. It was a significant year in terms of the company’s repositioning toward system integration, multimedia solutions and new products and services portfolio.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla has won The Golden Marten Award, traditionally given to the most successful local companies by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. This most prestigious recognition of business excellence in Croatia was won against a very tough competition and it was received by Gordana Kovačević, company president from the hands of the Croatian prime minister Ivo Sanader.
In Varaždin, on 30th Jan 2007 a ceremony took place (after the resolution adopted by the General Shareholders Meeting about the merger of the Varaždin and Zagreb Stock Exchanges) where a certificate of appreciation for the highest stock turnover on the Varaždin Stock Exchange was given to Ericsson Nikola Tesla.
At the end of last year the first Croatian business television Capital Network launched an initiative within which the entrepreneur and the most important business event of the year 2006 were to be announced. Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla was voted by the Capital Network viewers the entrepreneur of the year 2006.
