Gordana Kovačević once again named the most powerful woman in Croatian business

For the twelfth consecutive year, business magazine Lider, in cooperation with Bisnode, has made a list of 300 most powerful women in Croatian business, on the basis of their managing power as one of the main criteria. Based on this, and several other “soft” criteria, a list comprising 10 most powerful women in Croatian business was made. The second year in a row, number one on the list went to Gordana Kovačić, MSc, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Miodrag Šajatović, editor-in-chief at Lider, presented Gordana Kovačević the award at the “Women in Business” conference.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla Wins Indeks DOP Award

At the eighth conference on corporate social responsibility (CSR), organized by Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development (HR PSOR) and held on December 1 at the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel, corporate social responsibility awards (Indeks DOP) were presented to the winners. Due to a strategic and encompassing approach, our company has been awarded for the sixth time.

The opening ceremony for the project “Development and implementation of the IT system for monitoring of the implementation of the General Administrative Procedures Act (GAPA)” financed from the EU IPA FFRAC 2012 fund in which Ericsson Nikola Tesla is tasked with the development of the mentioned system was held yesterday at the Ministry of Public Administration of the Republic of Croatia.
Diversity Inspires

On October 7, Innovation Day 2016 was held on Ericsson Nikola Tesla premises in Zagreb, under the motto “Diversity Inspires”, which can be applied to a whole range of our activities throughout this year.
Once again, the event showed that Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Ericsson Nikola Tesla Servisi’s employees have diverse interests and engage in different activities, all with a good sense of social responsibility and solidarity towards their fellow citizens who are in need.
Closing Ceremony of Ericsson Nikola Tesla Summer Camp 2016

Traditionally, this summer as well, graduate students of numerous faculties from Croatia and abroad worked in Zagreb and Split in Ericsson Nikola Tesla Summer Camp. On September 28, 2016, the closing of Summer Camp was marked with day-long activities in the Company premises, encompassing poster presentations and demo sessions. This year, an enormous interest was shown for the sessions during which numerous guests walked around stands talking to students and mentors who worked on projects. Along with students and their mentors, the closing ceremony was attended by numerous representatives of faculties, and was followed by students and mentors in our R&D in Split via video link.

At the conference "Corporate Governance in Croatia”, the business magazine Lider presented the awards to the companies with the best practice of corporate governance. Ericsson Nikola Tesla is among the awarded companies. After receiving the award, Gordana Kovačević, MSc, President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, participated in the panel discussion together with other winners.
The Red Cross and Ericsson Nikola Tesla Help Children's Hospital Srebrnjak

Along with the pleasant, newly decorated space at the third department, young patients at the Children's Hospital Srebrnjak received today a donation of didactic toys and tablets. The donation was made to the manager of the hospital Boro Nogalo, PhD, by the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla company Gordana Kovačević, MSc. This has been a part of the activity, which started during this year’s event under the name Hrvatska volontira (Croatia Volunteers), within the framework of a project named Bolnica Bezbolnica (Hospital Without Pain), which is a part of an international project called Smiling Hospital. Since 2011, Bolnica Bezbolnica project has been organized by the Croatian Red Cross. Today, representatives of the Croatian Red Cross donated picture books and other books to the hospital, and Robert Markt, the Executive President of the Croatian Red Cross, handed the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla letters of gratitude for the participation of the employees and the entire company in the project.
SmartZET Among Offered Solutions for a Smarter Zagreb

The moment has arrived for Zagreb to become one of the smart cities of the future.
For the first time in Croatia, the most relevant ICT companies were gathered to collaborate on a joint project with the aim of improving Zagreb citizens’ lives. Four teams developed four different ideas, and the one that gets the largest number of votes will be implemented. We would like to point out SmartZET solution, which is completely in line with our Networked Society vision, and is developed, among other, by Ericsson Nikola Tesla expert Mićo Dujak.
MIPRO 2016

Last week in Opatija, the 39th MIPRO was held, which is the biggest non-commercial convention on information and communication technology in this part of Europe. It gathered some 1 200 experts, and around 400 papers published in the Conference proceedings in electronic form were sent from around thirty countries. The specificity of this convention has always been, and still is, a clear connection of technological and scientific novelties with different ways of their use in practice. This year’s MIPRO was organized in the form of ten consultation sessions dedicated to particular areas of high technology, several round tables, workshops, seminars, fora, and thematic days dedicated to currently important topics.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla is traditionally an active participant and sponsor of the conference dedicated to main ICT trends in industry, science, education, and public administration.
