TIM and Ericsson reach new European record for 5G speed

TIM and Ericsson, alongside Qualcomm, have successfully completed Europe’s first connection overcoming the 2 Gbps speed barrier on a 5G live commercial network. The connection was completed on a 26 Gigahertz (GHz) millimeter-wave (mmWave) frequency that was acquired by TIM as part of the Italian government’s 5G bid.

Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, has for many years been on the list of most influential women and named the most powerful woman in Croatian business for four consecutive years. This year, the jury therefore presented Gordana Kovačević with a special award for the overall contribution to Croatian economy.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla wins CSR Index for responsible environmental management

At the annual conference on corporate social responsibility, CSR Index awards were officially presented for the 12th consecutive time. Organized by the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development (HR PSOR) and the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK), and in the presence of numerous renowned guests, the awards were presented to companies for the best CSR achievements. The companies were awarded in nine categories, and more than a hundred companies entered the competition this year.
