Ericsson Nikola Tesla contribution recognized in JIS project

Joint Information System for Land Registry and Cadaster (JIS), a project realized in the cooperation of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Ministry of Justice and State Geodetic Administration, was recognized as a support in creation of e-Croatia, a development of entrepreneurship and securing citizens’ trust into land registry and registries in the recently published first Voluntary National Review (VNR) of the Republic of Croatia. Ericsson Nikola Tesla, as a member of the Croatian Chamber of Economy’s CSR Association, was included in the contribution during the creation of VNR.
Gordana Kovačević receives PRO PR Vision Manager Award

PRO PR Vision Manager Award for transparency in communication has been handed out for seven consecutive years. This year, the title of a PRO PR Vision Manager was awarded to the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla Ms Gordana Kovačević. As stated in the explanation by the committee members, “in the management process over all these years, she has given a very important role to transparent communication, using different techniques and tools towards all the targeted members of the public in a sincere, comprehensible and transparent way, and has inspired the business community with the messages she has communicated.”
Success of our researchers at the European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP)

At the beginning of April an international scientific conference, European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP), which is one of the biggest international conferences on wireless communication, was held in Krakow (Poland). A paper that was written in collaboration of our expert and FER’s Professors, won the “Best Antenna Theory Paper” award.
Once again, the most powerful woman in Croatian business

Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, has been ranked the first among the 10 most powerful women for the fourth consecutive year, and manages a successful technology company. The choice of the ten most powerful women in Croatian business was presented during the Lider’s conference “Women in Business” held at Zagreb Fair.

The celebration of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) Day was held on Friday, November 23. The ceremony was opened with an introductory speech by the dean, associate professor Gordan Gledec, PhD. The guests were also welcomed by the Rector of the University of Zagreb Professor Damir Boras, PhD, and State Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Education Tomo Antičić, PhD, acting as a representative of the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The most successful students and employees were awarded recognitions and awards of the Faculty. After the ceremony, guests had the opportunity to see an exhibition of posters presenting FER projects. Ericsson Nikola Tesla is a partner of the Faculty through various forms of collaboration and of the top students as well.

The eleventh CSR Index award ceremony was held at the 10th Conference on corporate social responsibility, which was organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy and Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development (HR PSOR) at the Esplanade hotel in Zagreb. The competition is carried out by a methodology which enables the companies to objectively evaluate their socially responsible practices and compare them with other companies’ practices. This year, Ericsson Nikola Tesla won the award in the area: Responsible workplace policies and practices.

The awards given in several categories – corporate, national, and individual projects – have revealed the best innovations and practices related to water as well as projects that should be followed. The award for large companies went to Ericsson Nikola Tesla.
For the Third Time in a Row the Most Powerful Woman in Croatian Business

Gordana Kovačević, MSc, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, has won the title of the most powerful woman in Croatian business for the third year in a row.
